Since I’ve moved into my new apartment I’ve been eating two foods: sushi (because there is a fab sushi place across the street) and sweet potatoes.
I am LOVING the potato, and yes it does come as part of the Irish teritority, BUT sweet potatoes are just on a whole other level. Mashed, cubed, whole, baked, in little disks – you name it, I eat it that way!
Here are a few facts of why they are so G*d D*mn GREAT!
Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, Iron, Magnesium and Potassium. I mean if you can squeeze all that into a potato, it’s going to be good!
They release sugar into your blood stream sloooowly, which can help keep your tiredness and weight at bay.
Sweet potatoes are lower calorie than regular white potatoes.
So, sweet potato up!
